The Inspiration Behind Christ is Boss
My Personal Testimony
The inspiration for Christ is Boss comes from a deeply personal place. My journey began on the streets of New York City, where I experienced a life-changing event that set me on the path to ministry. After miraculously surviving a high-speed car accident on the West Side Highway, I found myself walking through church doors the very next morning. At the age of 27, I received the call to ministry and began serving as an Armor Bearer to Pastor David Paul of Spiritual Life Ministries. This role allowed me to travel across the United States and around the world, fulfilling the Great Commission.
The Calling to Start a Christian Apparel Brand
In just a decade, I was ordained as an elder at 37. Today, I continue to serve, facilitating weekly prayer meetings and ministering to the sick alongside Pastor Paul and fellow elders. On December 16, 2020, Christ is Boss was born out of a vision to use fashion as a tool for evangelism. We believe that God uses the foolish things to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27), and that includes using graphic tees and hoodies to minister to those in need of encouragement. Each design is crafted by me, utilizing my God-given artistic talents that have evolved from childhood sketches to digital masterpieces. Instead of burying my talents, I chose to use them for God's glory.
